Hunger Pangs? Make some lip smacking stir fried rice

At times, everyday cooking becomes a hassle and a boring job. All we crave for is a change from our regular food. This quick and easy stir-fried rice recipe is that needed change. It is a simple and invigorating recipe which entices your hunger while satiating your taste buds perfectly.

Ingredients you need

  • 1 1/2 cups of Pride of India Indian white basmati rice soaked in about 3 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 
  • 1/2 tablespoon Pride of India organic cumin powder 
  • 4-5 Pride of India organic black peppercorns or a ½ tablespoon Pride of India ground black pepper
  • 3-4 Pride of India organic green cardamoms 
  • 3-4 Pride of India organic clove whole 
  • 2 Pride of India organic bay leaves 
  • Pride of India Himalayan Pink salt according to taste
  • 5-6 French beans stringed and chopped 
  • 2 Carrots peeled and chopped 
  • 1/4 cup green peas 

Preparing the bowl of lip smacking rice.

To prepare this bowl full of happiness follow these simple instructions.

  1. First, heat the unsalted butter in a non-stick pan and add black peppercorns or ½ tablespoon ground black paper, cloves, green cardamoms, cumin, and bay leaves to it.
  2. Sauté them for about half a minute. Then add French beans and carrots. Toss gently and slowly add some green peas to it.
  3. When the vegetables seem done, add the soaked rice to the pot followed by a pinch of Himalayan Pink salt and mix well.
  4. Then add at least 3 cups of water to it and bring the mixture to boil. Cover the lid of the pot for a few minutes and wait until the rice are done.
  5. The enticing aroma of the prepared rice will let you know that your nice rice experience is about to begin. Serve hot with yogurt or your favorite curry.
